The US Consulate General Curaçao requires the services of a qualified company to provide a Cleaning crew to clean the compound of the US Consulate General Curacao. Contractor is responsible to ensure all areas are cleaned according to the Consulate standards.
Daily cleaning services include, but not limited to, the following:
Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, dusting, cleaning of carpets, cleaning of windows (inside and, where possible, outside), cleaning of mirrors, wiping of surfaces with various chemical cleaners. The areas that must be cleaned are floors, corridors, stairways, bathrooms, window spaces, storage spaces, walls, kitchens, kitchen cabinets, and offices.
These activities will be performed conform the work program and schedule and need to be overlooked and supervised by your supervisors 8 hours a day.
Mailroom/ meeting room and outside rest area –
Requires one extra person twice a week for 4 hours to help out with the daily office cleaning. Daily cleaner will clean the meeting room and outside rest area on a daily basis.
1 person Monday through Friday 8 hours a day. Working hours are from 07:00 am to 16:00 pm.
1 person twice a week 4 hours a day. Working hours are from 08:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Backup employee details should be provided along with your final proposal
All Employees will be screened and need to get security clearance from the U.S. Consulate General in Curacao

December 2019 thru November 2020
MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT
The U.S. Consulate General in Curacao shall provide all necessary janitorial supplies and equipment, including mops, brooms, dust rags, detergents, cleaners, etc. to perform the work identified in this document.
Cleaning products and materials, Toilet paper, hand towels, trash liners and air freshen will be also provided by the U.S. Consulate General in Curacao.
The quote will be expressed in Guilders for the totality of the tasks to be carried out by the contractor, as specified:
- Price for monthly & daily cleaning
- Price for the extra person twice a week
- Total price per month
- Excluding taxes, as the U.S. Consulate has exoneration from the local government
Within the budgeted price will be included all the costs of operation and maintenance of the service that must be carried out by the Awardee Company, including: insurance, salaries, social charges, licenses, other obligations, imposed by the national, provincial and municipal laws in the matter of taxes, rates and contributions, pension and / or labor contributions of the dependent personnel.
LAWS AND REGULATIONS
Without additional expense to the Government, the Contractor shall comply with all laws, codes, ordinances, and regulations required to perform this work. In the event of a conflict among the contract and requirements of local law, the Contractor shall promptly advise the Contracting Officer of the conflict and of the Contractor’s proposed course of action for resolution by the Contracting Officer.
The Contractor shall comply with all local labor laws, regulations, customs and practices pertaining to labor, safety, and similar matters, to the extent that such compliance is not inconsistent with the requirements of this contract.
